T he church is founded by Jesus Christ and through His choosing He has saw fit to select as Leader, Elder James Hayes. James will become Lead Pastor of Destiny Temple to serve the great people of the community, city, state and world for Jesus.
Since July 31, 2005 he has been preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and faithful to one congregation (St. Matthew Apostolic Temple Church of Jesus Christ, Inc.) for more than 30 years. During that time, he has helped lead in many capacities, such as; youth ministry director, assistant administrator to the ministerial staff and associate pastor.
In 2015 James was appointed by Presiding Bishop of the Apostle Church of Christ in God, Dr. J.C. Richardson, Jr to become the National Minister of Protocol.
He is married to his best friend and ministry soul-mate--- La'Rhonda. His wife has a graceful presence that stands united with her husband 100% to do God’s will. They both are from the area and know exactly what to do in ministry that will build the Kingdom of God.
Words that best describe these two are, but not limited to; worshippers, prayer warriors, consistent studiers of the Word and always striving to operate in excellence.
