Knowing Your Purpose
Many of us are familiar with the event that took place in St.John Chapter 6, which tells of Jesus and how He fed the multitude with fivebarley loaves and two small fishes and how twelve baskets of fragments weregathered after the people were filled. We have heard the message how The Lorddid not distribute directly to the people but
said to His Disciples to “make the men sit down” (St. John 6:10) andhow He
gave the barley loaves andfishes
to His Disciples , after He blessedthe food, to give to the people (St. John 6:11).
As many do not know what they are carrying, there are fewwho know and because of fear, choose not to operate in their calling and thereare others who may not even realize their potential in GOD. Just like the youngman with the five barley loaves and two small fishes, which may have seemed little;but we serve a GOD who uses what seems “little” to man…to feed MANY.
DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOUARE CARRYING?
This young man did not realize that what he was holding wasthe very thing that was NEEDED to “minister” (to feed/to serve) to others. Whatthis young man did not realize was that the very “gift” that he was carryingcould deliver many from hunger. What this young man failed to see, was that hewas in the right place at the right appointed time… destined by GOD. What this young man did not know or even slightly understandwas that he was carrying something very powerful.
DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOUARE CARRYING?
God will use what seems like nothing to us and little toothers, to do HIS Greatest Miracles. This young lad did not have a clue what hewas bearing. To look at it further, many of us are carrying “The Word” deepinside of us and we are not even aware of the calling/gift that GOD has placedwithin us. Many of us have exactly what others need, in order for them to befilled with the Spirit of God, to be delivered from Spiritual hunger, to berestored and set free ALL IN THE NAME OFJESUS . Some of us are holding the very ANSWERS to people’s problem, some ofus are holding the very “deliverance” that people are seeking. Some of us areholding the very POWER OF GOD, that will set the captives free, that will movemountains and that will go beyond breaking chains to DESTROYING the chains ofbondage. Some of us are holding the very thing that people NEED!!!!!!!
DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOUARE CARRYING?
As one of the Disciples saw and mentioned to Christ aboutthe Lad and what he was carrying, there are some of you (even though you do notrealize it or just in denial), that The Lord will touch someone’s spiritual eyeto “SEE” your gift, to SEE your calling, to SEE your potential, to SEE the veryanointing of GOD in your life.
KNOW WHAT YOU ARECARRYING! GOD IS CALLING YOU! Don’t run, don’t even “try” to hide. AcceptTHE WILL of GOD in your life for there areMANY who are waiting on YOU! Your Destiny, your purpose is the VERY THINGthat will deliver many and lead othersto their Destiny. What you birth will bring life to others, for LIFE producesLIFE. What you are holding on to is the Power of an ALMIGHTY GOD. Do not hold on to The Word of GOD, do notkeep it hidden, but give it freely, for there are many that NEED what you arecarrying.
Much is given, much isrequired (Luke 12:48)
Blessings!
